What happens when you join the ref.hunt waitlist. Last updated November 2026.

Who: ref.hunt is run by Federico (zzzibo), Milano, Italy, who is the data controller. Contact: write to @ref__hunt on Instagram.
What we keep: Your email address, the date you signed up, your browser language and your consent. No name, no tracking, no cookies.
Why: To tell you when the ref.hunt platform opens and to send the occasional hunt. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a)).
Where: In a private Google Sheet in ref.hunt's Google account. Google acts as a processor and may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long: Until you unsubscribe, or at most 24 months after the platform launches. Then it is deleted.
Never: Your email is never sold, rented or shared with brands.
Your rights: Access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time: reply STOP to any email or write to us. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
